Erasmus + Job Shadow Mobility Initiative

"Dear Doctor Maria Rosa Borghi:

No thanks is necessary.
We at Florida Atlantic University are very honored by the invitation of the Italian Consulate to be the first University in the U.S. to partner with an institution in Italy through Erasmus+.  Our leadership, most especially our Interim University President Stacy Volnick, our Dean Daniel Gropper and the associate deans of the College of Business, were very pleased to meet Vice Consul Eva Alvino and you at the Welcome Reception to commence the Erasmus+ Job Shadow Mobility Initiative at FAU.
For sure, this week has been a very fruitful and valuable learning experience not only for our faculty friends from the Istituto Superiore Carlo dell’ Acqua.  Not only for them, but for FAU also.   So many of the College of Business faculty and members of the administrative team who led seminars and tours for the Istituto have emailed me, called me, and stopped me to convey what a worthwhile and treasured experience it was to for them to share ideas, gain insights, form exciting professional relationships, and communicate their hopes for long term future partnership.
This successful initiative has truly been a concert of knowledge organized by the College of Business, but allied through many departments and units throughout the University also.
We are very excited about future collaboration and, again, are honored to be part of such a dynamic global education experience.
Thank you for your kind words, and I will make sure they are passed on appropriately.
Per adesso,
Joe Compomizzi
