Meet the Teacher

Stefania Valentino has been a teacher since she was 16 years old! Teaching has always been a passion of Stefania’s so while still attending High School and University, Stefania began tutoring younger children. After receiving her Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the Università Orientale in Naples, she taught at a local high school. When Stefania moved to Washington, D.C. in 1994, she began teaching at an Italian Language school called Casa Italiana and received an additional teaching credential from the Università di Siena. While in Washington, D.C., she also taught Italian to employees from the U.S. Department of State. In 2003, Stefania returned to Rome, Italy to specialize in Health and Safety in the workplace by leading seminars on Health and Safety in schools, and in public and private companies. Stefania moved to the Los Angeles area from Rome in 2015 and quickly found herself at home teaching children Italian with Fondazione Italia. Stefania loves ballet, exploring nature with her four children, and of course traveling back to Italy to visit friends and family!
