Our institute is a technical state high school in Pistoia, a small town in the heart of Tuscany, very close to Florence. It provides the students with a specialized training in ICT, Electronics, Automation, Mechanics and Chemistry. In particular, ITT Fedi Fermi is one of the most active high schools in Italy as regards the use of G-Suite technologies for Education, an online platform that we would like to promote as a medium to encourage collaboration and exchange practices between us and our partner school.

Moreover, in the previous years, thanks to different projects, we have already established contacts with the Consulate and the Embassy of the United States , so that we think we will be really motivated to start a durable cooperation with an American high school, which could give rise to:

• Exchange of tools and practices between ITA-US classes, using an online platform
• A 7- 10 day trip to the US for the Italian students, who will have the opportunity to visit their partner school, and will stay in the US students’ families.  A tour in one of the Google offices, or in other relevant companies of the US exchange town/city will be organized (if possible)
• A 7/10 day trip to Italy for the US students, who will stay at our students’ homes and will be allowed to visit our institute and attend our lessons. They will be shown all the beauties of Tuscany and they may also plan a trip to Venice or Rome.
• A multichannel audio-video text report/documentation done by students during the whole project
• Specific educational activities related to the theme of the exchange
• Evaluation of learning
