The Department of Foreign Languages at Towson University invites applications for a tenure-track 10-month position at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2020. PhD in Italian at time of appointment and native or near-native fluency in Italian is required. Ability to teach a second language is a plus, preferably one currently taught in the department. Teaching experience at the various levels of undergraduate instruction in Italian is expected, as is a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service.
